Tamilar Awards

With finalists from the four corners of the world (Australia, France, Norway, Denmark, India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, UK, Canada) the Short Film of the Year Awards have reached the international status, and is seen as the reference for film producers around the world, and TV broadcasters alike. Most of the Short Films we have received are very good and decision making was really been very tough. In total there 60 entries, 9 nations represented, 5 finalists for Short Films and 4 Finalist for Documentary and 2 Finalist for Music Video have been nominated.
The 5th annual Norway Tamil Film Festival, Founded by Vaseeharan Sivalingam, and presented by founding sponsor VN Music Dreams, announced the winners of its... competition categories tonight NTFF Board members and NTFF Jury Chief Mrs.Gloriana Selvanathan at the Stovner, Oslo City in Norway. The winners of Norway Tamil Film Festival Awards for the year 2013 has been released recently. Norway Tamil Film Festival is organized by the NTFF groupe and VN Music Dreams for recognizing the excellent work in Tamil cinema.

Dear Friends, First of all I would like to thank you all for the kind support to our new initiative of Norway Tamil Film Festival 2010, which was held from 6th to 9th February at Oslo, Norway, organized by VN Music Dreams.
The most eagerly awaited Norway Tamil Film Festival awards are officially announced last night at Oslo. DirectorSargunam’sVaagai Sooda Vaa which released last year won as many as 7 awards under various categories including the ‘best director’ award at the just-concluded 3rd edition of the Norway Tamil Film Festival.
The most eagerly expected Norway Tamil Film Festival 2012 short film award list has been released officially today. The Messiah, a 30 minute short film produced by Chennai based youngster Praveen Kumar won the best film award for excellent acting.
The second Norway Tamil Film Festival held in norway capital Oslo from 20th to 25th April.
